Our chapter runs on volunteer leadership, and we’re now accepting nominations for the ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฒ-๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ณ term (๐๐๐น๐ ๐ญ, ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฒ, ๐๐ผ ๐๐๐ป๐ฒ ๐ฏ๐ฌ, ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ณ). If you’ve been looking for a way to grow your leadership skills, expand your network, and give back to the profession, this is it.

๐ฉ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐๐ถ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ป๐ / ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐๐ถ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ป๐-๐๐น๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ โ Supports the chapter president in setting direction, helps build the annual plan, steps in as acting president when needed, and supervises chapter committees. A strong path into future chapter leadership. Roughly 10 to 15 hours per month.
๐ฆ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ โ Keeps the chapter’s records and continuity intact: meeting minutes, member notices, attendance tracking, and consistent messaging across our communication channels. Roughly 8 hours per month.
๐๐ฑ๐๐ถ๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐ ๐๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐ฝ ๐ ๐ฒ๐บ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ฟ โ Represents our members’ voice at the Society level, votes on ASSP-wide issues, and keeps the chapter informed on national decisions. Roughly 4 hours per month.
๐๐ฝ๐ฝ๐ผ๐ถ๐ป๐๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐ฟ๐ผ๐น๐ฒ๐ (๐ฐ๐ผ๐บ๐บ๐ถ๐๐๐ฒ๐ฒ-๐๐ฒ๐น๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐ฒ๐ฑ):
๐๐ผ๐ฏ๐ ๐๐ต๐ฎ๐ถ๐ฟ โ Serves as the go-to for members posting or seeking open positions, manages job listings across our channels, and coordinates cross-posting with the ASSP jobs board. Roughly 3 hours per month.
