February 2019 Chapter Meeting

Topic: Getting a Handle on Workers’ Compensation Costs

Presenter: Ms. Pat Crawford, Texas Department of Insurance, Division of Workers’ Compensation

Come join your fellow safety professionals at the February 18, 2019 chapter meeting at Building 209, 3rd Floor Training Room at Southwest Research Institute (SwRI) (6220 Culebra Rd, 78238).  Building 209 is location in section F7 on the SwRI campus map below.

You may enter either the Main Entrance (Culebra Rd.) or the South Gate (W. Commerce St.).  When you arrive on Campus:

• Park anywhere in the Building 209 parking lot (except in the back of the building where active testing is conducted)
• Go to the main lobby
• Take the elevator (or the stairs) to the Offices of the Environmental Safety Systems Staff on the 3rd floor
• There will be a sign on an easel, directing them to the Training Room.

Our guest speaker will be Pat Crawford from the Texas Department of Insurance, Division of Workers’ Compensation office.  Pat will provide proven tips on how to control workers’ compensation costs.
